Purpose of the service

mibodita gives each couple a personalised web invitation, with a unique link per guest group and an RSVP form, and a private dashboard to manage the guest list. The specific features depend on the plan agreed with the couple.

Sign-up and account

For now, accounts are set up manually following a demo or contact request: there is no automatic sign-up. Kanku Software Solutions creates the couple’s account and invitation space. The couple must keep its credentials safe and report any suspected unauthorised use. The account is for the couple’s exclusive use and cannot be transferred to third parties.

Commercial terms

The commercial terms of the plan are agreed with the couple before set-up. These terms do not set prices or billing periods.

Acceptable use

• Use the service only to organise the wedding of the couple holding the account.
• Do not upload unlawful or offensive content, or content that infringes third-party rights.
• Do not try to access other couples’ data, or to alter or overload the platform.
• Do not use guest data for purposes other than organising the event.

The couple’s content and guest data

The couple keeps the rights to the texts, photos and music it uploads and grants Kanku Software Solutions the permission needed to host and display them on its invitation. It declares that it is entitled to use them.

The couple is the controller of its guests’ data and Kanku Software Solutions acts as processor: the couple must inform its guests, have a legal basis to process their data, in particular allergy data, and handle their rights. The details are in the privacy policy.

Availability

We work to keep the service continuously available, but we do not guarantee it will run without interruptions or errors. We may suspend it temporarily for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control. The service may evolve and its features change; we will notify couples of relevant changes.

Intellectual property

The platform, its code, design, templates and brand belong to Kanku Software Solutions or its licensors. The contract gives the couple a right to use the service, not ownership of it.

Limitation of liability

Kanku Software Solutions is liable for damage it causes by breaching its obligations, within the limits the law allows. It is not liable for indirect damage, loss of profits, or damage arising from content or data the couple enters, misuse of its credentials or failures of third-party services such as WhatsApp. Nothing here limits the rights the law grants to consumers.

Cancellation and data deletion

The couple may ask to cancel at any time by writing to info@kankusoft.com. Guest data is deleted automatically six months after the wedding date, or earlier at the couple’s request. After cancellation the couple’s account and content will be deleted, except what must be kept by legal obligation. Kanku Software Solutions may suspend or close an account if these terms are breached.

Changes to the terms

We may update these terms. We will inform couples of relevant changes with reasonable notice, and continued use of the service after that notice means acceptance.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, the parties submit to the courts that have jurisdiction under the applicable rules; if the couple is a consumer, those of its place of residence.
