What you can do with B-Day Reminder
- Your birthdays, organised
- Import them from your Contacts (optional) or add them by hand with a name, a date, an optional birth year and notes. See everything by month, an upcoming-birthdays carousel, filters by month or favourites, search, and sorting by date or name.
- Reminders your way
- Turn on each person’s reminder on the day itself, 1 day, 1 week or 1 month before, and combine as many as you like. Choose the time and set quiet hours: if a reminder falls in your rest period, it arrives when it ends.
- Wish them in a tap
- From a person’s page, call, send a message or open WhatsApp (if installed). Reminders for contacts include quick actions to call or message, and you can mark who you have already wished this year.
- Suggested wishes
- With Apple Intelligence, pick a tone from formal to very affectionate, edit the proposed text and send it yourself. It is generated on your device.
- Widgets
- On the Home Screen, small, medium and large widgets with the next birthday and the ones after it, plus the contact’s photo when there is one. On the Lock Screen, circular (countdown), rectangular and inline widgets.
- Private by design
- No accounts, ads, tracking or analytics. The app connects to no server, and access to Contacts is optional: you can withdraw it whenever you like.
- In six languages
- English, Spanish, French, German, Italian and Portuguese.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account?
No. B-Day Reminder has no user accounts: your birthdays stay on your device.
Do I have to give access to my Contacts?
No, it is optional. You can add birthdays by hand and withdraw the permission at any time in iOS settings.
Do reminders work offline?
Yes. They are local notifications scheduled by your device, they repeat every year and need no internet.
What does the app do with my data?
Nothing outside your device: Kankusoft neither receives nor has access to it. We explain it in the privacy policy.
What do I need for suggested wishes?
iOS 26 or later and a device that supports Apple Intelligence. Every other feature only needs iOS 18.
Reminders and widgets depend on iOS and your settings, so it is best not to rely on them alone for critical dates. Suggested texts are a proposal for you to review.
